Canoe Routes

This section will list canoe routes through out the world. We will try to provide as much information on each as we can. Once we have a few we will get them cross referenced by different criteria (length, difficulty, and so on.) If you have information on a canoe route you have recently taken, please write or email us any or all of the following information:

• Route Name
• Route location
• Directions to route
• Short description of route (under 50 words)
• Route map
• length
• number of portages
• longest portage
• exceptional characteristics (vertical portage, water hazards, fantastic views, bear danger, ...)
• difficulty
• title and author of books, or ordering information for pamphlets, with more information in them

If you see we already have the route listed but you have information to add, send it along. If you would like to write a trip report, a story of your trip on this route, that would be great. Check our Author Instruction page for the details of how to do that.

We are especially interested in routes that do not have any documentation or where the documentation is out of date or out of print.
